Summary PML-N workers staged a protest in front of Karachi Press Club on Monday.
They demonstrated against torching of party offices in different cities of Sindh.A large number of people, including women, attended the rally taken out by PML-N Youth Wing.Chanting ‘Go Zardari Go’ slogans, participants of the rally lashed out at the government and demanded early arrest of the culprits involved in attacks on PML-N offices.PML-N Sindh President Salim Zia, Zain Ansari, Ismail Rao, Muhammad Asif and others addressed the rally.They warned the government of holding more protests if their workers, who were arrested earlier in the day, were not released.The participants were holding party flags and pictures of Nawaz Sharif. In addition, the PML-N also held a rally in Peshawar against the attacks on PML-N offices in Sindh.More than a dozen workers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) were arrested from various parts of Nawabshah district of Sindh on Monday.A protest rally was also taken out in Badin against the torching of PML-N offices. Unknown people torched offices of PML-N in Hyderabad, Sukkur and other cities after Shahbaz Sharif’s address in Lahore.Meanwhile, police conducted raids in several parts of Nawabshah and detained more than a dozen activists. Local PML-N leaders accused the government-sponsored people of carrying out vandalism.
