Summary PML-N is utilising all official resources ruthlessly to make October 28 rally successful.
The steps are being taken despite clear orders of the Lahore High Court.A central control room has been set up in Chief Minister House at Shahra-e-Quaid-e-Azam for making contacts and other matters to hold Go-Zardari-Go rally successfully. Zulfiqar Khosa, senior advisor to chief minister, has been made incharge of this centre. Rana Ashfaq Sarwar, Siddiqul Farooq and Malik Riaz MNA will assist Khosa.Official cell number and fax number have been allocated for use in central control cell. DCOs and DPOs of all the districts of the province have been directed by provincial government to make arrangements for providing transport to bring 5000 persons in the rally.The members of national and provincial assemblies have been assigned to bring maximum people in the rally. The decision to award ticket in next general election will be made on the basis of number of participants brought to the rally, said a report.Attendance of all the departments of district government will be marked twice a day to ensure their participation in the rally. First attendance will be marked in Nasir Bagh after Jumma prayers and second attendance will be marked in Bhatti gate ground at 1700 hrs during public meeting.Sources said over 1000 buses have been arranged to bring citizens to public meeting site from different parts of Lahore. Three contractors have been assigned to make arrangements for serving meal and providing drinking water to the participants. District government staff will assist them, the report concluded.
