Javed Iqbal said that all pensioners and employees would be paid before the Eid and next time no delay in payments would be made.Talking to pensioners outside the Rail Workshop in Mughalpura Lahore, he confirmed that the federal government had paid the required funds to the Railways. He also ruled out closure of the Pakistan Railways, saying the repair work on old engines is in progress and all train routes would be restored soon.
