Summary Dengue continues to take lives despite change in weather and measures taken by the Punjab government
Five more people died of dengue in Lahore including 28-year old Abrar of Badami Bagh who died at Mayao Hospital.Meanwhile, four persons died at Jinnah Hospital including 85-year-old Ashraf of Township, 22-year-old Rizwan of Kasur, 34-year-old Khalid of Kot Lakhpat and 22-year-old Muhammad Umar of Khanqah Dogran.Eleven new dengue fever cases were registered in Nishtar Hospital after which total number of dengue patients has reached 507.In Faisalabad, number of dengue fever patients is also rising while 15 new patients were registered in government hospitals. The death toll due to dengue has reached 273 in Punjab.
