Summary Rain in Islamabad and other areas along with snowfall in upper areas has set in winter.
Reports said snowfall in Neelum and Leepa valleys has also contributed to the pleasant weather. The mountains of Tawbutt, keel and Noori Naar in Neelum have received one-foot snow. The rains are continuing in Bagh, Muzaffarabad, Haveli, Neelum, Hatian Bala, Rawalakot and Dirkot.The people have started wearing warn clothes after the onset of cold wave.In Lahore too, weather has started to shift towards winter. The night remained overcast, with scattered drizzle in parts of the metropolis.Rain has also been reported from Attock, Quaidabad, Phalia, Pasrur, Gujrat, Jhawarian and Gujranwala. The Met Office said the westerly winds would stay in the upper areas in the next two days. It forecast rain with gusty winds in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Quetta, northwestern Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.Picnic spots and public parks in the federal capital are witnessing rush of visitors on Sunday as rain turned the weather pleasant by declining the temperature by 3-4°C.
