Summary LHC accepted the petition for hearing regarding PTVs venture with Indian TV channel.
Lahore High Court started hearing on the petition seeking directions to stop alleged joint venture of PTV with an Indian TV channel.The petitioner lawyer took the stance that the administration of the State TV was inking an agreement of showing cricket matches with an Indian TV channel which was against the national interest. He prayed the court to issue a stay order in this regard.Chief Justice Lahore High Court accepted the petition for hearing and summoned Federal Mister for Information and MD PTV on November 4.
