Summary SC accepted petition for hearing regarding bringing back looted money from overseas banks.
The leaders of main political parties including Nawaz Sharif, Bilawal Bhutto have been made party in the petition.The petition was moved by the senator Muhammad Ali Durrani according to which billions of dollars plundered form national finance are deposited in overseas banks. The defendants have established precious assets in different countries. According to the UN Convention, the affected country has right to bring its looted money back, he argued.
