Summary CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said he had done a lot for judiciary and yet to do more.
Addressing a full court reference in the Supreme Court on the retirement of Justice Ghulam Rabbani, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaurdhry said that a dictator tried to take oath from judges in an unconstitutional way but Justice Ghulam Rabbani remained as firm as possible.The parliament has multiplied its splendor by not endorsing the unconstitutional laws including NRO and many others, he said.The SC Bar president Asma said that she was hopeful the vacant vacancies of permanent judges in the High Court would be filled on priority basis.
