Summary The release of water from Tarbela and Mangla dams has decreased by 5000 cusecs.
After decline in the release of water from the dams, loadshedding is likely to return.According to IRSA, the release of water from Tarbela and Mangla dams has been decreased by 5000 cusecs during 24 hours which may be further decreased by 16,000 cusecs within 48 hours.IRSA is of the view that Punjab has requested decrease in the release of water from Mangla as Punjab is in need of 60,000 cusecs rather than 0.1 million cusecs.
