Summary Fake projects of solar energy in Alternative Energy Development Board have been exposed.

According to report received by the Dunya News, former administration of Alternative Energy Development Board gave an advertisement to purchase solar power computers. According to PC-1, solar power computers were not part and parcels of the aforesaid project.According to the report, original price of the computer purchased was 50,000 while it was shown Rs 1,88,000 in the record.Alternative Energy Development Board’s Chairman Air Marshal (r) Shahid Hamid, Technical Coordinator Syed Aqeel Jaafri and Technical member Brig (r) Nasim Khan gave consent to the project hurriedly on Sunday.It is worth-mentioning that these computers were neither part of any projects nor have they any record.The second project of ‘looting and plundering’ was planned for installation of solar street lights at Frash Town in the suburb of Islamabad for which Rs 5, 70,000 were paid.According to sources, Member Board Technical Brig (r) Naseem received the solar street lights but did not deploy at the suggested sites.The current administration of the Board has sent the inquiry report to the FIA Corporate Crime Circle.
