Summary Punjab Governor called explanation from IG Punjab Police and Home Secretary over loadshedding riots.
The IG said that at least 114 accused rioters have been arrested from different places.The IG Punjab and the Home Secretary also brief the Governor about the law and order situation. The Governor was also told that approximately 32 cases have been registered against alleged violators.The Governor directed that it is responsibility of the police to maintain law and order and secure protection to lives and property of the people as well. Nobody can be permitted to do lawlessness in the name of protest demonstrations.
