Summary Marriyum congratulates Ahsan Iqbal for being called ‘CPEC hero’
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on Monday congratulated Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal for getting the title of 'CPEC hero' from China.
She said, “A person whose honesty, dedication, and hard work were acknowledged by a country as esteemed as China, was unjustly thrown into jail during the previous regime’s campaign of political victimisation.”
The minister lauded the China for showing trust in Pakistani politician. She further said that this honour was also an expression of the success of Pakistan's foreign policy. During the PTI’s term, the country was suffering from diplomatic isolation, she added.
