Summary Balochistan High Court conducted hearing of suo motu notice on target killing in Quetta and Mastung.
During hearing of suo motu cases, BJC Chief Justice said inquiry officers must know oppressors were local or foreigner. The function of the court is to issue, not follow, orders, he said.Chief Justice showed his anger over not pinpointing the site of occurrence of firing on an ambulance on the map and absence of security forces from the site of occurrence.While consulting Deputy Attorney General, the Chief Justice said why contempt of court notices were not taken on not following court order. Security men were sleeping about 200 feet far from site of occurrence and they did not hear the sound of firing.Advocate General submitted names of five witnesses during hearing.
