Summary Dengue continues to take more lives while new cases have also been reported in different cities.
At least five people have died from dengue today in the provincial capital where two people lost their lives in Mayo Hospital while 45-year-old Alia of Shah Kamal Colony and 70-year-old Sarwar Sohail of Gulshan Ravi died in Services Hospital and 18-year-old Abrar also died from dengue.Meanwhile, six new cases have been admitted to Nishtar Hospital Multan after which number of dengue fever cases has reached to 56; however the recovered patients have been discharged.Dengue continues to increase in Faisalabad and the number of patients reached 858 after registration of 38 new cases.The local administration has been claiming that the city has been sprayed while many areas of the city have not been sprayed so far due to which the dengue virus is increasing in the city.
