Summary LHC has adjourned the hearing of drone attack case for two weeks.

Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed of Lahore High Court on Friday started hearing of a petition challenging US drone attacks in Pakistani territory.The federal government lawyer said that the government is responsible for formation of policy regarding ending of drone attacks while the courts have no authority to interfere in the government’s policies.The counsel for the petitioner told the court that thousands of people have been killed in US drone attacks in Pakistan’s tribal region.After hearing the arguments, court remarked that courts cannot interfere in government’s policies. The court adjourned the hearing for two weeks.
