Summary A blast has been heard in Islamabad while the APC is in progress in the capital.
Sources said at least four people, including a woman, have been injured in the blast in upscale Blue Area. Ambulances have been seen at the blast site. Islamabad security has been on alert on account of the All Parties Conference taking place in the capital.The blast reportedly took place on the third or fourth floor of Envoy Continental Hotel. The area has been cordoned off. Interior Minister Rehman Malik has also reached the site and entered another nearby hotel. Rescue sources said it was a cylinder blast.
