Summary Supreme Court Wednesday permitted former Senator Mir Ali Muhammad Rind to contest by-polls.
According to reports, a two-member bench headed by Justice Shakirullah Jan annulled Balochistan High Court (BHC) verdict holding Rind ineligible to partake in elections.Senator Rind belongs to Balochistan National Party (BNP).The BHC declared him ineligible for the polls as he was punished by National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
