Summary NEPRA lowers tariff for NPGCL by Rs 0.30 to Rs 1.55 per unit
According to National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) the tariff of Gulf rental power plant has been lowered to Rs 0.30 per unit. The tariff for Muzafargarh power plant is decreased by Rs 0.44 to Rs 1.55 per unitThe decrease in tariff is made due to decrease in the prices of furnace oil.It is said that the production cost of Faisalabad power plant has increased to Rs 22.61 per unit due to which power tariff is jacked up. The decrease in power tariff of Northern Power Generation Company Limited (NPGCL) will be implemented from August 15.
