Summary Interior Minister Rehman Malik says US must respect Pakistan's sacrifices and losses in terror war.
Malik said this while talking to US Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of South and Central Asian Affairs, Geoffrey R Pyatt on Tuesday. Both discussed regional issues with him.During the meeting, also participated by America’s ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter and higher officials of the Interior Ministry, Interior Minister Malik stressed that terrorism had no boundaries, religion or national identities, and should be dealt with iron hands.The minister also expressed profound hopes that the US and other allies would always remember and endorse 36,000 sacrifices (casualties), besides colossal loss of assets worth billions of dollars, suffered by Pakistan.He also stressed on assuring full respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan, by the allies.
