Judges should be appointed before bar elections: Asma

In her address Balochistan High Court Bar, Asma Jahangir said that judges interfered in previous election therefore, appointments of judges should be completed before the elections of Supreme Court Bar. Asma Jahangir vows not to accept any kind of pressure. She said that she was bound to bar but not the executive.She affirmed that judiciary was independent today which can bring the executive under the justice. She “In the backdrop of the international scenario, Baluchistan is in danger due to various problems,” she said. “The game, US is playing is the region is not in our interest therefore, rulers should act seriously,” she said.
