Ambassador Haqqani, Grossman for reducing tensions

Hussain Haqqani, and Marc Grossman telephonically talked and agreed that differences over Haqqani network won’t be allowed to dominate Pak-US ties. There are many areas where both the countries are on the same page.In another development US Deputy Secretary of State Thomas Nides met with Finance Minister Abdul Hafeez Sheikh. Both agreed the ties would soon improve between Pakistan and the United States. Difference of opinion between friendly countries doesn’t mean animosity.Thomas said US stands by its promise to build dams in Pakistan
