White House spokesman Jay Carney on Friday called on Pakistan to break any link they have with the Haqqani terror network, blamed for attacks in Afghanistan including the recent strike on the US embassy in Kabul.Top US military officer Admiral Mike Mullen has called the Al-Qaeda-linked Haqqani network a veritable arm of Pakistans Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agency.The White House statement came after Pakistan’s denial of having any links with the group.
