Summary PPSC member Ghiasuddin Sheikh along with 10 other people died of dengue in Lahore.
The death toll has reached 61. Sheikh Ghiasuddin was being treated at Sheikh Zayed Hospital for the last three days. Other women Samina Mohammaed Ali also could not survive due to lack of platelets.So far, 7000 patients have been confirmed to have dengue virus. In Faisalabad the dengue patients are increasing with each passing day.Today 21 more patients were admitted to hospitals. Total number of dengue patients rises to 400 in Faisalabad. In Multan five more dengue patients were admitted to Nishtar Hospitals. The total number of patients in Multan is 101.
