Summary At least two people were shot dead and five others were wounded in different incidents of firing.
According to police, 50-year-old Muhammad Saif Jan was shot dead in Frontier Colony in Banaras area while an unidentified man was gunned down in Shah Latif Town.On the other hand, Rangers have arrested an accused Shahid alias Darinda, and alleged target killer, during a raid in Sector 10 of Orangi Town and recovered kalashnikov, repeater and several TT pistol from his possession.Meanwhile, Amir of Wafaq-al-Madaris, Maulana Talha Rehmani and two of his accomplices were injured in firing by some by some unidentified persons on University Road in Nipa Chowrangi. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment where there condition is stated to be out of danger.
