LHC orders to remove blasphemous material from websites

Justice Shaikh Azmat Saeed of Lahore High Court started hearing the case.The appellant’s counsel Advocate Azhar Siddique told the court that blasphemous material from the websites including Facebook and others has not been removed yet. He prayed to the court that Facebook should be banned.The court expressed annoyance over the federal government lethargic response and ordered to remove the blasphemous material immediately from Facebook and other websites.The court adjourned the case till two weeks and sought a written reply from the federal government regarding the issue.
