Summary Additional security from VVIPs and bureaucrats has been taken back.

It aims at addressing the deficiency of force in police stations of Lahore.According to police officials, nine police employees allocated for security of 2 Ex-DIGs Nisar Khosa and Baqar Shah have been taken back while one cop from the State Office, two from Secretary WAPDA and one from Secretary IT have been taken back.Likewise, three cops from bureaucrat Javed Muhayyuddin, three from Federal Secretary Salman Siddique and one police personnel from former IG Major (r) Ziaul Hassan have also been taken back.On the other hand, four cops deployed for the security of cricketer Zulqernain Haider, one from Additional Secretary for Religious Affairs Arshad Bhatti, two from bureaucrat Kamran Rasool have been taken back.Provincial minister Ch Abdul Ghafoor has been deprived of three police cops while ex-Chief Secretary Punjab Javed Mahmood would also have to survive without security.SP Headquarter Ather Waheed has confirmed that at least 50 cops have come back at present while the remaining 500 would be called back with the passage of time. All of them would be deployed at different police stations after being trained.
