Summary Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif said that all resources are being utilized to curb dengue.
A committee led by the Punjab Chief Secretary has been delegated the task of long-term planning in this regard, he said.Addressing a session of Sri Lankan experts and Health Department officials, Shahbaz Sharif said that people belonging to every walk of life should play their role for eliminating dengue and help make the anti-dengue campaign successful.Dengue is a curable disease and the nation needed not to be worried about this.The head of the team of Sri Lankan doctors, Dr Kolitha Sellahewa, said that there is no short-cut to curb dengue virus.Meanwhile, Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif visited Mayo and General Hospitals and inquired after dengue patients.He also visited Chughtai Lab and helpline centre in Aiwan-e-Iqbal, and expressed his satisfaction with their performance.
