Swati not released despite bail approval

ISLAMABAD ( Dunya News ) – Senator Azam Swati was not released on Monday despite Islamabad High Court ( IHC ) guaranteeing him bail.

The detailed order of IHC had not been released yet and for this reason the bonds for bail had not been received by the court – both of these action would take place tomorrow.

The senator from Pakistan-e-Tehreek Insaf was arrested in view of his contentious remarks against the state institutions.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman and other leaders from PTI criticised the arrest of Mr Swati.
