Summary Extravagant spending by rulers despite economic problems
ISLAMABAD ( Dunya News ) – The extravagant use of resources has exposed the claims of the incumbent administration about practicing austerity.
Some of the ministers have purchased new cars while three former prime ministers have been using bullet-proof cars.
According to details received by Dunya News, National Assembly Speaker Raja Parvez Ashraf is using two bullet-proof cars – land cruisers of 2015 and 2017 models. Former premiers Imran Khan and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi have two cars of the Cabinet Division. Meanwhile, Senator Sadiq Sanjrani is using bullet-proof Toyota Land Cruiser 2017 model.
Also, NA Deputy Speaker Zahid Akram, foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and Maulana Asad Mehmood are using bullet-proof Toyota Land Cruisers. Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja is using bullet-proof BMW 2016.
The prime minister had given the approval of all these cars despite severe economic crisis.
