Summary Two more patients of dengue fever died in Lahore and Dera Ghazi Khan.
In Punjab 67 more cases of dengue fever have been reported. The government claims there are 1590 people in the province suffering from the disease.In General Hospital Lahore, Saeed Anwar 26 lost the battle against the virus today. He was a resident of Ghaziabad, Lahore. He was brought to the hospital a few days ago. Out of all 1590 patients, 1400 belong to Lahore alone.In Dera Ghazi Khan one patient also died, which brought the toll to two in one week. The total number of patients in DG Khan is said to be 10.In DG Khan one Hajra from the village Sameena 40 and Manzoor Nasir of Nizamabad died. The relatives of the patients complain about inadequate faculties in the hospitals.
