Summary Accountability court judge hearing graft case against Zardari, Abbasi transferred
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - An accountability court judge, who was hearing corruption cases against the PPP and PML-N leaders in the federal capital, has been transferred.
Judge Azam Khan was hearing cases against former president Asif Ali Zardar, his sister Faryal Talpur, former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbas and former finance minister Miftah Ismail. He has now been transferred following the completion of his three-year term.
The Ministry of Law and Justice has appointed Nasir Javed Rana as new judge of the accountability court on the recommendation of the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
Azam Khan has been appointed as judge at the Special Court Central in the federal capital.
