Summary Torrential rains cut off the land link of Balochistan from other parts of the country.
It is raining cats and dogs in Balochistan, paralyzing the life in several districts of the province, besides submerging many villages.The inundation forced evacuations in Nasirabad, Jafrabad, Sohbatpur, Dera Allah Yar, Dera Murad Jamali, Baba Kot, and many other areas of Balochistan. People are compelled to take refuge on roadsides.Two men in Lasbela and one in Loralai districts of Balochistan were killed in rain related incident.It is feared that lower areas in Sibbi district can be sunk if rain continues.Torrential rains also play havoc in southern Punjab. Two people were also reported to be dead in rain related incidents in Punjab.The protective embankment broke in Alipur tehsil of Muzaffargarh and the water destroyed the standing crop over 4,000 acres.
