Summary Five Pakistan Army officers, including a brigadier and two majors were investigated.

The Pakistan Army detained five military officers, including Brigadier Ali Khan and two majors, suspecting that they were having links with an outlawed organisation Hizbut Tahrir (HT).The investigation agencies have completed probe into the matter and dispatched their report to the adjutant general and Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani.No decision has been taken about the future of Brigadier Ali Khan and other officers.The brigadier was scheduled to retire on July 7 but was arrested days before that.
