Summary Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated today with religious fervor throughout Pakistan.
Million of faithful offered Eid prayers in mosques and open places on Wednesday. The faithful offered special prayers for the solidarity, prosperity and integrity of Pakistan, liberation of Kashmir, Palestine and Chechnya, restoration of peace and security in Afghanistan and Iraq, and for the unity and brotherhood amongst Muslims.Special security arrangements tightened in the entire country to avert any untoward incident on Eid al-Fitr. To this effect, police and law enforcement agencies have made special security arrangements at different public places, highways, big shopping malls and markets.People in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and tribal regions have celebrated Eid one day before the official announcement of the occasion.
