Summary PM Gilani today met the family of abducted Shahbaz Taseer, son of slain Punjab governor.
He assured the mother of Shahbaz Taseer that the government would do everything to trace and secure his release. He also apprised the family about the sentiments prevelant in the PPP over the abduction of Shahbaz. He said the party has yet to come to grips with the loss of Salman Taseer, the governor.The PM had been in the city of Lahore since yesterday. He addressed a press conference at the State Guesthouse on his arrival on Monday, and had touched on the issue of Shahbaz Taseer’s abduction.
