The showers washed away the heat wave of summer turning the weather pleasant in the city.According to Met Department, the recent spell of showers is expected to continue intermittently in various Punjab areas including Lahore, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Sialkot and Rawalpindi as well as northern areas during the next 24 hours.
