Summary Court has ordered seizure of ex-president Musharrafs property in Benazir murder case.

The court earlier had issued arrest warrants for Pervez Musharraf after delivery of summons to his address in London.Judge Shahid Rafiq of Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has issued orders for confiscation of all moveable and immoveable property in Pakistan of former president Pervez Musharraf. The court has given these orders while granting the application of FIA seeking forfeiture of property of Pervez Musharraf. Earlier former President had been declared proclaimed offender in this case. FIA had once again sought time from the court for presenting details of property of Pervez Musharraf in the court. Court adjourned the proceedings of indicting the accused persons in this case till September 10 due to observing of Aitkaf by Nasir Tanoli counsel of an accused. Defence counsel filed bail application in respect of accused Sher Zaman Saturday. Judge Sher Zaman issued notice to prosecution and summoned them for arguments. The FIA already had submitted details of Musharraf property present at Shinghr Housing Society Gawadar where he owns 10 Kanals, one farm house at Islamabad and bank accounts details. FIA also had submitted the details of agricultural property belonging to Sehba Musharraf, the wife of Pervez Musharraf available at Mauza Kotha Kalan Rawalpindi.It may be pointed out that Rashid Ahmad an accused in Benazir assassination case has been awarded cash prize of Rs 10000, medal and certificate by Rawalpindi board for securing third position in the Matric examination.
