Summary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Barrister Masood Kausar announced to call all parties conference.
While talking to the media, after an Iftar diner, Kausar said that a meeting of all political parties would be called to promulgate the new FATA Act according to its true spirit, adding that proposals and suggestions would also be soughed from all political leaders.The governor said that the political parties, civil society and representatives of lawyers’ bodies had welcomed the amendment FCR, Political Parties Act and other steps had been taken for the welfare of the FATA.He stated that the amendment in FATA Act was the part of the PPP’s manifesto and more amendments would be made if necessary.President Asif Ali Zardari believes on reconciliation policy so that anybody could not derail political system, he added. He termed FATA operation a great success and said that they were trying to maintain peace in the area through holding dialogues with all political parties and starting political activities.
