Summary Meteorological Department has forecast Eid-ul-Fitr moon is likely to be visible on August 30.
According to scientific research, duration of moon sighting would be approximately 40 minutes except in upper parts of the country, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where it would be 30 minutes.Met Department has also forecast that on August 30, the moon would be visible only in coastal areas. It would be visible in Karachi, Pasni and Hyderabad for 40 minutes and Jiwani for 42 minutes.
