The petitioner Faizul Hassan argued the Rangers and police performance was not satisfactory and they have failed to restore law and order in Karachi. The army should be given total authority for three months and should be deployed in Karachi and Hyderabad, argued the petitioner.Federal, provincial governments, interior, defence and law ministries were made the respondents in the petition.
