Summary Foreign Office has directed foreign envoys to get permission for travel inside Pakistan.
Sources in the Foreign Office told Dunya News that a new circular in this regard has been issued. The foreign ambassadors and diplomats would be bound to take permission 15 days before leaving for prohibited areas while five days to leave for non-prohibited areas.These conditions would be enforced on all the envoys without any discrimination.The prohibited places include fifteen areas of Punjab, eighteen of Balochistan, five of Sindh, major parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, all the cantonments, Gilgit Baltistan and ten kilometres along the Line of Control in Kashmir. The rest of the country including the federal and provincial capitals would be catagorised non-prohibited areas.
