Summary At least sixteen innocents have been gunned down on Friday in different parts of the metropolis.

The gangsters are on rampage in Karachi as death toll has reached to 60 in just two days.Despite several claims made by the government deteriorating law and order situation in Karachi could not be stabilised yet as another sixteen people have been killed in fresh incidents of target killing on Friday. The rangers were patrolling in the metropolis while streets were presenting deserted look.According to police four mutilated corpse has been found from Lyari in the jurisdiction of Pak Colony Police Station. One of them is identified Rizwan who was resident of Hyderababad Colony while another dead body stuffed in gunny sack has been found from Khara.Apart from this, dead bodies of Ghaus Muhammad from Gulshan-e-Iqbal Blokc, a 22-year-old Sagar from New Karachi Sector-11, Mubeen from PIB Colony and Shareef Gabool were recovered from Mubayyana Town.On the other hand, two more people were gunned down near Shirin Jinnah Colony and Federal B Area Fazl Mill. On the other hand Interior Minister Rehman Malik claimed that after the government’s ultimatum eighteen abducted persons out of 36 have been released. He said that he had directed IG Sindh and concerned officials to evolve strategy to maintain law and order situation in Karachi.
