Summary PM said terrorism and extremism cant be eradicated without improving peoples living conditions.
In a message on the World Humanitarian Day, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said that the world cannot enjoy enduring peace if some parts of it were afflicted with famine, poverty and natural calamities. He called for collaborative efforts to end poverty.He stated that the celebration of World Humanitarian Day represents the acknowledgement and appreciation of valuable contributions of aid workers around the globe to improve the lot of humanity through their dedicated and selfless services.Gilani said from Asia to Africa, the humanity’s condition would have been far worse, had people belonging to different parts of the world not come out to support them in times of great hardships.
