Summary Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said all every force would be used to stop killings in Karachi.
The government would take strict action against the miscreants without any discrimination to control the lawlessness in the metropolis, he said.A meeting regarding maintaining law and order situation in Karachi was held in Karachi and it was decided in the meeting that a strict action would be taken against extortionists, miscreants and criminals in Karachi.The meeting decided that police and Rangers would conduct joint operations against miscreants and other forces would also be summoned if needed.Talking to the media after the meeting, Malik said that a strict action would be taken against miscreants because the government wanted to protect citizens.The interior minister said that he warned the abductors to release the abducted people or suffer consequences.On his turn, Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah told the media that he ordered the police to take indiscriminate action against criminals. He extended his commiseration for the families of deceased.
