Writ petition against Gilani: LHC seeks explanation from AG

LHC Justice Umer Ata Bandial conducted hearing of the writ petition filed by the petitioner’s lawyer AK Doggar in which the plaintiff said that PM Gilani was causing a clash between the Supreme Court and the government.The petitioner pleaded that the government was not implementing the verdicts of SC while on the other hand, PM Gilani was propagating that the Supreme Courts verdicts were being implemented in real sense.In this way, the PM is not only befooling the nation but also making fun of the court’s verdicts.The petitioner prayed to the court to submit a case against the defendant under Article 6.Lahore High Court Chief Justice Umer Bandyal accepted the petition for hearing and sought explanation from the Attorney General Pakistan by September 8.
