Federal Cabinet approves Ghulam Nabi Memon's appointment as IG Sindh

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The federal cabinet approved the appointment of Ghulam Nabi Memon as IG Sindh on Thursday.

Ghulam Nabi Memon, a Grade 21 officer of the Police Service of Pakistan, had earlier been working as Additional IG Karachi.

In the Dua Zehra recovery case, the Sindh High Court had directed to remove IG Sindh Kamran Fazal from his post, after which the Sindh government had recommended to the federation to appoint Ghulam Nabi Memon as IG Sindh.
