DG FIA tenders resignation to Establishment Division

Director General FIA, Tehsin Anwar tendered his resignation to Secretary Establishment Division, Wednesday, on the pretext that he cannot work under Zafar Qureshi who is his subordinate.Earlier in the day he had submitted his resignation before the Supreme Court during the hearing of NICL scam case saying he could not be a part of the inquiry team headed by Zafar Qureshi. Upon this Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry directed him to submit his resignation before the authority concerned in case he cannot work under Zafar Qureshi. Now following the court orders the DG FIA has sent his resignation to the Establishment Secretary.
