Summary Defence Committee of the Cabinet (DCC) has decided to form National Crime Database at federal level.
The DCC that met with Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani in the chair, also decided to enhance intelligence sharing between the centre and the provinces in order to curb crimes, including terrorism.The three services chiefs, federal ministers and senior officials attended the meeting that mainly discussed security issues.The PM underlined effective monitoring of the Pak-Afghan border to check cross-border attacks inside Pakistan. He also called for steps to mainstream the Balochis to end sense of deprivation in them and to restore full peace there.
