Summary Babar Awan, lawyer of NICL accused Moonis Elahi, filed petition in SC to remove Zafar Qureshi.
The petition was filed hours after Supreme Court directed government not to interrupt Zafar Qureshi as head of probe in NICL case.In his petition, Babar Awan claimed that Zafar Qureshi was not investigation the case impartially and requested the court to change the head of investigation team.Awan further said he as a lawyer had confidence in rest of the probe team but the head should be changed to give a neutral impression.Earlier, the Supreme Court adjourned the hearing of NICL case indefinitely.
