Summary The PMD has predicted more rains for Sunday and Monday in lower Sindh and Punjab.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecast scattered rain thundershower across the country with isolated heavy falls in Sindh and upper Punjab for Sunday and Monday.According to the PMD, seasonal low lies over northwest Balochistan with its trough extending southeastward, monsoon currents are reaching in most parts of the country while a westerly wave is still present over northern areas and Kashmir.Moist current from Bay of Bengal is penetrating Punjab and Kashmir up to 5000 feet which will cause scattered rain with thunder in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Bahawalpur, DG Khan and Multan divisions with isolated heavy falls in upper Punjab on Sunday.Thundershower is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Balochistan, Hazara, DI Khan, Peshawar and Bannu divisions during next 24 hours.The rainfall recorded in different cities: Lahore 123 millimetre, Okara 62 mm, Sialkot; Cantt 48 mm and Airport 33 mm, Kotli 46 mm, Gujranwala 44 mm, Sahiwal 43 mm, Sargodha; Airport 32 mm and City 26 mm), Jhelum 31 mm, Mandi Bahauddin, Mangla and Palku 25 mm each, Chakwal 23 mm, Rawalakot and Jacobabad 22 mm each, Marala 21 mm, Tarbela and Rohri 13 mm each, Peshawar 13 mm and Murree 12 mm.
